A gift all about the child
Many christening gifts are made to be kept: a silver spoon, a piece of jewellery or a keepsake box. A personalised children's book can be enjoyed now and treasured for years to come. The child’s name appears on the cover and in the story, and the illustrations are drawn from a photo, so it’s them you see on the pages. You can also upload photos of parents, siblings or yourself to join them in the book.
From godparents and special adults
Godparents and other special adults can have their own place in the story, the illustrations and the foreword. Write what you’d like the child to know one day: about the celebration and the people who were there. If you’re not sure how to begin, we can write a first draft for you to make your own.
A naming ceremony
Some families celebrate with a naming ceremony instead, at home, in a hired venue or outdoors. The book is just the same: it’s about the child and their name, and the foreword is a message from the day, however it was celebrated.
