Why the theme A day to remember makes a good book
An adventure that suits the child
Some days the family talks about for a long time afterwards: the first match, the day at swimming lessons when it finally worked, a party, a christening or the day the baby sister came home. In a book about your big day your child is the hero, and everything is kept as it was: the waiting before, what happened when the day finally came and who was there. The book tells what really happened, nothing made up, so your child knows their own day on every page.
What goes in the book?
Write what kind of day it was, who was there and what happened, in the order it happened if you like: the waiting, the moment and how you celebrated afterwards. Put in the small things too, what your child said, what you ate or who hugged first. The book keeps to what you write and makes up nothing you weren't there for.
If something didn't go as planned, rain over the party or butterflies before the match, it becomes the book's turning point, told with warmth.
A day that gets to stay
The book is drawn from your photos in the style you choose, so it is your child standing in the middle. It becomes a keepsake to read again whenever your child wants to hear about their day, and a lovely present for Granny, Grandpa or whoever was there to see it happen.
Big days go fast. In the middle of it all nobody sees everything that happens, and afterwards everyone remembers their own piece. In the book the day comes together as one story, from the night before to when you got home, with your child at the centre. It is one to read again on the next birthday, when your child wants to remember what it was like to be a little smaller, or before the next big day.
Your child is the hero
You fill in the child's name, age and what they like, and upload a photo. The story about a day to remember is written for your very own child, and the thirteen pictures and the cover are drawn from the photo in the style you choose. Brothers and sisters, parents, grandparents or the pet can come along, up to five characters. If you would like to include something that has happened lately, a trip or a lost tooth, just write it and it is woven in.

How the story could begin
You had waited so long. The night before it was almost impossible to fall asleep, and in the morning your tummy felt fluttery. Then it was time. Everyone was there, and exactly what you had hoped for happened, or something even better. Afterwards you celebrated, and you wanted to tell everyone about it. Now it is in a book, with you on every page.
