Summer is full of firsts: a first swim, a first night in a tent, a first bike ride without training wheels. In a personalised children's book, your child is the hero of the story. Tell us what you’re planning to do, or what you’ve already done, and we’ll weave it into the adventure. Choose a day at the beach, a camping adventure, a midsummer story or a vacation trip. If your child is learning to cycle this summer, they can try it in their story first with learning to ride a bike.

A book to read during the vacation

The summer vacation can feel long for children who have just learned to read. A story starring your child may be just the book they want to pick up. Choose ages 6–9 and the text will include dialogue and a little problem for them to solve. See prices for the eBook and hardcover.

A keepsake of this summer

Make the book at the end of the vacation, about what really happened: the rain on the camping trip, the fish that got away, the evening everyone went swimming after dark. Write what you remember best in the foreword. In years to come, the book will be a reminder of what your child was like that summer.
