Draw a unicorn's head facing forwards in six steps, with a horn, a curly mane and stars.
The drawings and sheets are free to print at home, preschool and school, but not to sell.
Photograph the drawing and upload it instead of a photo of your child. The story is written around the character, and the illustrations are painted to look like it on every page, from the cover to the final spread.
The mane could be every colour of the rainbow, and the horn could be gold or silver. You could add more stars or swap them for hearts.
If you'd like to colour without drawing first, try our unicorn colouring pages. And in the unicorn story, your child gets to ride one.
